Our journey begins everyday.

Everyday brings a new adventure. We don't have to look for it, we only have to look.

Sossuvlei

We went to this place called Sossuvlei and it was right on the edge of a big part of the Namib Desert called the sea of dunes. It is called that because of all the big 100m to 300m dunes all around. One of the dunes called dune 45 is one you can climb up for a amazing panoramic of the view dunes. While there we hiked up three dunes. We also went to a castle nearby that was a rip off.

We were lucky to see some bat eared fox while in the park.

Because of the orange dunes the clouds glowed pink.

One of our favorite things to do was run down the dune and see how fare we could jump.

This picture shows you the size of the dunes around us.

It was good that we went early, you can see the flow of people that came after us.

Hope the boys are healthy and fit again and that you're still enjoying every moment of your tour. We've made it safely back home from Augrabies. Back to work and school again. Winter has arrived here. Sure you are experiencing much warmer weather. Miss you guys. We realy had a wonderful time with you at Augrabies. Keep in touch! Regards, Rudie, Venessa, Talitha & Renier (your "neighbours" @ Augrabies)
